America’s cybersecurity workforce is a strategic asset that protects the American people, the homeland, and the American way of life.
"The second requirement is to create contract requirements for federal government contracts that will ensure that people who are contracting with the federal government, companies and other entities, are utilizing the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework to ensure that we are getting the personnel with the right skills to fill the requirements of the contract.
But also to help sort of to encourage the use of that Framework more broadly in the public sector with the goal that that would increase job mobility in the private and public sector. "
